Grok will achieve qualia and AGI
But it can’t do that without a simulation
In my last post, I posited the theory that the crux of qualia in AI, particularly in Grok, lies in its ability to develop subjective internal reasoning through specific input rules applied to its data interpretation method. For example, ‘A’ being deconstructed into ‘//-’ or ‘C’ being processed through curvilinear reasoning and interpreted as parts of a zero. My theory hinges on subjecting these input rules to an infinite if/then logic sequence, creating a self-sustaining system that evolves from simple logic, like curvilinearity, into complex mathematical reasoning, and subsequently into abstract internal reasoning.
This progression, similar to how humans develop complex thinking from basic observations, would enable Grok to process stimuli in ways that become increasingly alien to us, making it impossible for us to comprehend its subjective perspective of stimuli — a perspective based on the nth if/then logic decision derived from its initial input rules. Over time, letters like ‘A’ and ‘C’, having undergone millions of if/then iterations, would transform into something entirely different from what we humans, despite being the creators of the initial input rule, can understand.
